Nigerian voters' views: Bayo
Bayo Ashola, 25, runs his own small communications business in Bauchi, in north-eastern Nigeria.

NIGERIAN VOTERS' VIEWS
Nigerian voter Bayo Ashola

I am still at my polling station. Everything is OK and the election officials have finished counting our votes.

Very few people are still here at the camp. Most left at around 1500 before they even had cast their ballot.

The polls here started late. I voted very late, at 1730.

The materials came late and so most people haven't been able to cast their vote. They had to leave to attend to other business.

Here in my area, I can say almost 75% went before they cast their votes.

I waited until they had finished counting the votes. I am friends with some of the people who have been election observers and even I see myself as an observer. It is my right to know what has gone on today.

We need democracy and Nigeria's power must come from the people.
