Nigerian voters' views: Donaman
Donaman Atezan, 25, is a mathematics student in Gboko in central Nigeria.

Donaman feels that developing industry would solve many problems
I voted for the people of my choice last Saturday. I wanted to satisfy my conscience as a bona fide Nigerian.

There was no crisis as such during the state polls in my place but turn out was very low.

Many people did not come out to vote because they do not believe their votes count for anything.

I want Muhammadu Buhari to win but we all know that he won't.

Buhari has been head of state before and at least when he was, corruption was fought seriously and there was massive development under him too.

Nigeria really needs infrastructure. And industry.

If we had these it would give the youth work. By providing employment and opportunities for the youth it would reduce crime.

As a nation, we also need to learn to shun corruption.

Our youth while at school should be taught the values of truthfulness and fairness. If these ideals were taught right from childhood it would bring about a whole new generation.

I hope that the Nigerians who were reluctant to go and vote last Saturday act differently this Saturday. Although the polls will not be free and fair, we must still cast our ballot. I strongly believe that we should go and vote.

I have made up my mind to still vote and I will go.

It is my greatest wish that everyone who is registered to vote, does go and vote.
