Shock at DR Congo rights violations

The rights group Amnesty International says it has been shocked at the scale of human rights violations in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Amnesty workers just back from a trip to the region say that hundreds of people -- mainly unarmed civilians -- have been killed by all sides in the conflict.

They say the worst violations have been occurring in North and South Kivu provinces.
