Flooded state calls for aid |

| Authorities in the Southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, who are battling against serious floods, have raised the death toll to more than one hundred and thirty. The rains have now abated, but a crack has appeared in one embankment on the outskirts of the state capital, Hyderabad. If it fails, three or four hundred homes will be threatened.
