Journalists moved to security camp in Liberia |

| Lawyers acting for the men said they were not aware the journalists had been moved until they tried to visit them to discuss the bail hearing. Nelson Mandela has asked Liberia's president Charles Taylor to release the men as a gesture and reports from South Africa today indicated that Mr Taylor would give the matter serious consideration over the next couple of days. But when the BBC spoke to the President's spokesman, Reginald Goodridge, he said this was news to him.
