More flood deaths in Nepal

In Nepal, seven members of a family, including five children, were buried alive when a landslide washed away their house in the north-eastern district of Dolakha, near the Chinese border.

The authorities say the landslide was caused by torrential monsoon rain.

More than 120 people have died in floods and landslides during the monsoon season this year.

Floods are common in Nepal's southern borders with India and the hills along the northern borders with China.
