Panama cabinet reshuffle complete
The Panamanian president, Mireya Moscoso, has appointed three new government ministers following a cabinet reshuffle. They are the ministers in charge of the economy, agriculture and public works. Mrs Moscoso also named seven new deputy ministers. They are to take office later today Tuesday. No reason has been given for the reshuffle, but correspondents say Mrs Moscoso's government has come under increasing criticism in recent months over its perceived failure to deliver on electoral promises.
