Sheriff warns soccer rowdy
Stair Park
Neville ran onto the Stair Park pitch
A soccer fan who invaded a pitch has been fined £650 and warned that football rowdiness is unacceptable.

Andrew Neville, 20, appeared at Stranraer Sheriff Court and was told that behaviour like his would not be tolerated.

Neville was arrested after running onto the pitch at Stair Park where the home side Stranraer were playing Berwick Rangers on Saturday.

He pleaded guilty to climbing a crowd barrier after Berwick scored to level the match 2-2.

Neville, from Edinburgh, also admitted conducting himself in a disorderly manner and committing a breach of the peace.
