Man charged with holiday kidnap bailed

A Manchester man charged with abducting a 16-year-old girl from a north Wales holiday camp has been bailed by magistrates.

Stuart Breslin, 21, of Bowden Avenue, Fallow Field in Manchester, appeared before Flintshire magistrates.

He is charged with kidnapping the teenager, taking her against her will from a caravan at The Mount Caravan Park at Ty'n y Morfa at Gwespyr near Prestatyn, just before midnight on Thursday.

He is also charged with affray.

The girl, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was recovered safe and well on Friday morning following police raids on a number of addresses in the Greater Manchester area.

Police are still looking for a second man.

During a two minute hearing at Flintshire magistrates court, magistrates agreed to a joint application by the prosecution and defence that Breslin should be granted bail, on condition that he lives at a bail hostel in Oldham.

Magistrates also ordered that he should not contact prosecution witnesses and the case was adjourned for a month pending committal to the crown court.
