| The leading Serbian opposition politician Vuk Draskovic, who heads the Serbian Renewal Movement, says he expects the party will field its own candidate in the September presidential election. It is a move which seems likely to dismay other elements in the fragmented opposition ranks. The general view has been that the only hope of toppling President Slobodan Milosevic is to present a united front. The BBC's Jacky Rowland is in Belgrade. |
