| The commercial capital of Nigeria, Lagos, suffers from an image problem. High crime, terrible traffic, and pollution all make it a distinctly difficult place to live. But there are hidden architectural and cultural treasures in the historic heart of the city and architects are now trying to prevent them from disappearing altogether.
