| Which country would you guess has the biggest army - per capita - in Europe? The answer is neutral Switzerland: 400,000 soldiers in a population of just over seven million. Evidence of this defence mentality is everywhere. Bunkers and fortresses pepper the landscape. But now the Swiss government has decided to massively cut back the military, reducing the army by up to two-thirds. And as The BBC's Claire Doole reports from Switzerland, a huge national auction of those bunkers is underway. |
