Speight in court tommorrow
The Fijian rebel leader, George Speight, and his leading supporters, are expected to appear in court in Suva tomorrow Saturday. Mr Speight faces charges relating to the possession of firearms. Mr Speight held the ethnic-Indian prime minister, Mahendra Chaudhry, and many of his ministers hostage for eight weeks in the Fiji parliament building. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
