Family's appeal over missing daughter
![]() Barbara Graham: Hard to believe my daughter has vanished
A Newry family have renewed their appeal for information about their daughter who went missing over a decade ago.
Caroline Graham was 18 years old when she disappeared and has not been seen since Easter 1989. Caroline's mother has turned to the National Missing Persons Helpline and is taking part in the BBC's Search project.
Barbara Graham said: "I don't think she is alive. "I can't understand why she has not got in touch with home. "At times we feel like selling up, but it stops me from moving because this is the only place she knows where to come to." After she went missing, her mother and sister went to her last known address in Portadown. But neighbours said she had moved away. Barbara Graham said the police were unable to help since Caroline was an adult. "They said because she was over 18, she was of legal age to do what she wanted to do, so that was it." She said it was hard to believe that her daughter could simply vanish into thin air. As yet no-one has come forward with any information on Caroline's disappearance.
