Man attacked by masked gang

A man has been treated in hospital for a gunshot wound to his leg after being attacked at his home in Coleraine, County Londonderry.

Three masked men armed with clubs and a gun broke into his Ballygallon Park home in the Ballysally estate before midnight.

They dragged him from his bed before beating him and shooting him in the lower leg.

One of the men pointed the gun at the man's pregnant girlfriend before escaping.
