Key moments from The World Tonight

In October 1980 Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher had been meeting Union leaders to discuss how to reduce unemployment. The unions were calling for the government to inject more money into the economy. On October 14th, Mrs Thatcher - as she then was - in characteristic style, told Brian Curtois, why she thought that was a bad idea.
