Pothole sponsorship repair scheme in German town


The harshest winter in decades has left many European roads covered with potholes - at a time when few councils have money spare for repairs.

A German town has started asking people to sponsor potholes for 50 euros each, with the repaired ground sporting the donors' names.

Steve Rosenberg reports from Niederzimmern.
