Australian PM Kevin Rudd tells of hope for Copenhagen

Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has said he thinks world leaders 'have the capacity to land an agreement' at December's climate conference in Copenhagen.

He also said he hopes the agreement could be made legally binding in 2010 but it would be a 'difficult process'.

There had been concern that no strong agreement would emerge from the 7-18 December talks in Copenhagen but hopes have been boosted after it emerged that more than 60 presidents and prime ministers plan to attend.
