A major exercise is underway in the Netherlands in which specialist rescue teams from different countries are simulating what might happen in the event of a major North Sea Flood.
Millions of people who live in low lying coastal areas of the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Belgium and the UK are at risk from a severe storm surge.
Specialist rescue teams from all over the UK and Europe are taking part, as well as hundreds of locals who are acting as casualties.
Adrian Mayhew, from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, allowed BBC News to follow him during the exercise.
