Stephen Fry ferrets among the forest canopies of Madagascar and finds the "darling" mouse lemur "one of the most beautiful animals he has ever seen".
Lemurs are among the most endangered of all primates, and live only on Madagascar, which has evolved in isolation for over 160 million years.
Fry and zoologist Mark Carwardine have been tracking down some of the most endangered animals on the planet in a six-part series.
Last Chance to See goes in search of lemurs including the very rare Aye-Aye on Sunday 20 September at 2000BST on BBC Two.
