Audio slideshow: Making music in Freetown

Everywhere you go in Sierra Leone's capital, Freetown, there is music. People plays songs from makeshift music shops and watch music videos on small TV screens powered by generators.

What goes into the music videos is often as interesting as the video itself. Ayouba Sidibay is a popular music video producer and local artists flock to him. Glenna Gordon caught up with him as he made a music video for Davida Green, who goes by the name Vida.

Photographed and recorded by Glenna Gordon, produced by Phil Coomes. Publication date 13 August 2009.
