India leader's house set on fire

A senior Indian politician has had her house and car set on fire, after she criticised a rival politician over her policy of compensating rape victims.

Rita Bahuguna Joshi who is the Congress party leader in Uttar Pradesh state, said the compensation offered was so low, it was demeaning.

Her comments have caused a political storm in India and she's now been placed in police custody.
