Two days of talks on the political crisis in Honduras have ended without agreement.
The Costa Rican mediators said the two sides had agreed to resume talks shortly, but other regional leaders see little hope of a break-through.
President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, a key supporter of the deposed President, Manuel Zelaya, said the talks were dead.
