Somalia's on-shore pirate fight

The risk to international vessels from Somali pirates has led to many foreign navies getting involved in the effort to allow merchant ships to pass safely through those waters. But the problem of fighting pirates on-shore is left entirely to the Somali authorities.

Very few international journalists have reported from Somalia recently but the BBC's Africa correspondent, Andrew Harding, has just been to Puntland in the remote north.
