Emergency landing at Romanian airport

A plane carrying 51 people has made a safe emergency landing in western Romania.

The Carpatair flight's front landing gear became stuck and the plane had to circle Timisoara International Airport for almost two hours, using up its fuel to avoid a potential fire.

The plane then cane into land on a bed of foam laid out by firefighters. Airport officials say all those on board escaped unharmed.
