Contrary to earlier reports that they carry over into the quarter-finals, there is an amnesty for players receiving just one yellow card in the group phase.

Just one booking from the group matches will therefore not carry over into the knock-out stages, but anyone with two yellow cards or a red card will serve a suspension.
