4 dead in Afghan refugee clashes

The authorities in Pakistan say four people were killed in a clash between Afghan refugees and Pakistani tribesmen at a refugee camp in the border area of Waziristan.

An official Sardar Mohammed Nawaz told the BBC that an Afghan refugee shot dead a taxi driver and his cousin at the Zarenoor camp.

The refugee and a woman were killed after tribesmen opened fire on his house.

The official said the motive for the killing of the taxi driver wasn't clear; he denied there was any tension between Pakistani locals and Afghan refugees.
