The Warriors landed five more tries during the next 20-minute spell, which saw Jason Robinson claiming a brace and Chris Chester scoring his first of the season. Salford did manage to score when the hard-working Darren Brown crossed for the visitors, but there was no way back from a 34-6 deficit at the break. Determined A more determined Salford side took the field after the interval and were rewarded with tries by James Smith, Nick Pinkney and Steve Blakeley to make the scoreline a little more respectable. But Wigan again pressed the gas pedal when Dallas completed his hat-trick following a timely Willie Peters interception. Brady Malam also registered his first try in a Wigan jersey before scrum-half Peters chalked up the half-century mark with Wigan's final try. Teams:
