Explosions rock Iranian town
Reports from Iran say there was a series of explosions on Friday evening in the centre of the northwestern town of Tabriz. The reports in the newspaper, Resaalat said the explosions were caused by mortars -- but no one was hurt. Correspondents say the armed opposition movement, the People's Mujahedeen, has claimed responsibility for a number of mortar attacks in the capital, Tehran, in recent months.
