Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira has hinted that he may be ready to leave Highbury.
The French World Cup winner is believed to have been the subject of a £15 million bid from Juventus just ahead of Euro 2000. Currently preparing for France's opening match of Euro 2000 against Denmark, Vieira said: "I have had four great years with Arsenal, but maybe now is the time for a change. "I want to experience something else. I love Arsenal and the fans, but I have to consider what is now best for my career," he told the News of the World newspaper. Future A few weeks ago, Vieira pledged his future to Highbury and said that he wanted to take over from Tony Adams as club captain.
Arsene Wenger may now be struggling to hold his Arsenal midfield together, with Marc Overmars and Emmanuel Petit also linked with possible moves to Italy.
