Suspected traffickers killed in Tajikistan
Reports from Tajikistan say Tajik and Russian border guards have killed two suspected drug traffickers as they attempted to enter the country from Afghanistan. The Russian border guard press service said the guards were shot at before firing back; they discovered a bag with heroin at the scene. A number of drug smugglers have been killed on the border in the past year. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
