Camacho locks out media
![]() Cameras and journalists locked out
Jose Antonio Camacho has put the hatches up and put a block on the foreign press entering the Spanish camp.
Spain are preparing for their opening Euro 2000 game against Norway on 13 June and it was only their national press who were granted permission to watch training and conduct interviews. A spokeswoman said: "The decision was taken last night by the technical staff," but gave no reason for the ban. She said the situation would continue until Spain's first match on Tuesday against the Norwegians in Rotterdam. A Uefa spokeswoman responded: "We are looking into it. While the Spanish have the right to close the session they can't discriminate among journalists."
