Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left Norway's Euro 2000 camp to return to England to celebrate the birth of his first child.
The Manchester United striker arrived back in England on Friday and witnessed his fiancee Silje Lyngvaer give birth to a boy at 8.05am. The player, likely to start against Spain on Tuesday, had agreed with coach Nils Johan Semb he could leave if the birth occurred during the tournament. Meanwhile, Solskjaer's United team-mate, centre back Henning Berg, is still struggling with a hamstring injury and is unable to train. "We'll have to wait and see if he'll be fit for the match on Tuesday," Semb said.
