Russian doctors killed in Chechnya

Three Russian doctors have been shot dead in the Chechen capital, Grozny.

Russian news reports say the doctors were travelling in a car in the centre of the city when they came under attack.

A fourth doctor and two army officers were injured.

On Thursday, a bomb explosion in Grozny killed two Russian interior ministry soldiers and injured one other.

The interior ministry said the bomb had been concealed in a residential building in the centre of the city.

The attacks took place following the Kremlin's decision to impose direct presidential rule over Chechnya.
