Lolo Ferrari: Husband held in connection with death

Police investigating the death of Channel 4 presenter and former porn star Lolo Ferrari, have arrested her husband.

Eric Vigne, 52, was held on suspicion of failing to prevent his wife's death.

Ferrari, 30, who appeared on the show Eurotrash, was found dead at her home on the French Riviera by Vigne on 6 March this year.

An initial postmortem suggested she died in her sleep from an overdose of prescription drugs.

Police in the French town of Grasse arrested Vigne, Ferrari's husband and manager of 13 years, on suspicion of failing to assist a person a danger.

Silicone

Ferrari, real name Eve Valois, was known as the woman with the largest breasts in the world.

Apparently created by an aircraft engineer, her silicone-enhanced bust was said to measure 71 inches.

She reportedly underwent 18 operations to achieve the result she wanted and had to wear a specially-adapted bra.

Ferrari made several porn films before landing the part on Eurotrash and became a cult TV figure across Europe.

Vigne has denied any part in her death.
