Chechen suicide bombers kill two Russians

The Kremlin has confirmed that Chechen rebels have carried out their first suicide bombing against Russian forces in the rebellious province, killing two soldiers.

The bombers drove a truck loaded with explosives into a Russian military building in a village Alkhan-Yurt south-west of the Chechen capital, Grozny.

Four Russian troops were injured, though it isn't clear if this was in the explosion, or in a hail of fire from nearby buildings immediately after the attack.

Correspondents say the bombing marks an change in tactics by the rebels after eight months of fighting Russian forces.
