| The Knesset, has given preliminary approval to a bill which will pave the way for early elections. Such a move could threaten the Middle East peace process. Three of the six parties in Prime Minister Ehud Barak's coalition government endorsed the proposal. The BBC's Hilary Andersson reports. |
