Investigators in America are trying to trace billions of dollars in what is alleged to be the biggest ever fraud by an individual.

Bernard Madoff a former chairman of the Nasdaq stock market has been charged with running a bogus hedge fund company that swindled investors out of at least 50 billion dollars.

He denies the allegations. Kevin Connolly reports.
