Rusedski tumbles down rankings
![]() Rusedski: Slipped after failing to play in Hamburg
Greg Rusedski has fallen to 52nd in the world, while Tim Henman remains just outside the top 10 in the latest Champions Race standings.
British number one Henman slipped a single place to 12th, but Rusedski's poor year continues with a drop of three places from 49th.
Gustavo Kuerten jumped four places to second following his victory in the Masters Series event in Hamburg. Henman made the third round, but Rusedski did not play. World number one Magnus Norman held onto the top spot for another week. Kuerten, one of the favourites for the French Open, could challenge him by winning at Roland Garros next week. Andre Agassi - third in the race - is top seed in Paris, where he won last year, with Martina Hingis taking that honour in the women's event. Pete Sampras is seeded second and Norman third. Henman is seeded 13.
Champions Race standings

Norman (Swe) 346pts
Others: 12 (11) T Henman (GBR) 169
