| The 53rd Cannes Film Festival ends with the Icelandic pop star, Bjork, named best actress. Her film, the Danish "Dancer in the Dark", also won the coveted Palm d'Or best film award. As the BBC's Jon Sopel reports from Cannes, it was also a night of triumph for Asian and Iranian films. |
