Larsson waits on finals place

Henrik Larsson admits he faces an anxious wait before learning if he is in Sweden's Euro 2000 squad.
He made his comeback from a broken leg in the last 20 minutes of Celtic's final game of the season against Dundee United and he now hopes to prove his fitness to Swedish team officials. "I will go to Sweden and train and see what happens. I don't know any more than anyone else," said Larsson. "Then, at the end of the week, I will know what is going to happen. I have nothing to lose. I have been away for such a long time but I feel strong so why not give it a try?
"A squad of 20 places has already been announced and I'm not one of them but there are still two places to be filled.
"So that is why I am going home - to show that I am worthy of a place in the squad. "I will believe it if I go there but you never know. I started training two-and-a-half weeks ago and the 20 minutes here was another step in the right direction. "It looked very good - the best it has ever been - so it was quite pleasing. "I don't have any complaints and the surgeon told me that there was no medical reason why I shouldn't play again. "The leg is stronger and I have been doing a lot of leg weights. It feels great when I sprint and that is good. "I haven't booked any holidays yet because I don't know what is going to happen."
