UK to arm Sierra Leone troops
Britain has announced plans to arm and train the government forces in Sierra Leone who are confronting rebels of the Revolutionary United Front. The British Defence Secretary, Geoff Hoon, said British officers would provide long-term training for the army and supply light weapons and ammunition. The BBC's Jane Standley reports from Freetown.
