In pictures: Walkway collapse
The collapse of a a pedestrian footbridge at a motor racing event in the US state of North Carolina has left dozens injured, some of them seriously.

![]() The stock car race drew some 180,000 spectators, with 75 people believed to be on the bridge when it collapsed
