Rosu will provide width on the left and has an excellent goalscoring record, hitting two goals from four starts in Romania's Euro 2000 qualifiers.

His overall record reads three goals from 10 international appearances.

Rosu made a big impression on his debut in October 1998 when he was sent off in Romania's crucial trip to Portugal, but it didn't stop his team winning 1-0.

He plays his club football for Steaua Bucharest with whom he won five consecutive titles between 1994 and 1998.
