One of France's most iconic cars, the Citroen 2CV, is celebrating its 60th birthday this year.

The original design brief was for an economic "umbrella on wheels" that would enable two farmers to transport their goods to market.

Most famously, it would be able to drive across a ploughed field without breaking the eggs it was carrying.
