Brewers cheer Big Game fortune
Kainz family
The Kainz family collect their winnings
A couple who own a small brewery in Illinois have come forward to claim the second half of a $363m US lottery jackpot.

The Big Game lottery, which runs in seven US states, set a record for the largest ever payout.

Joe and Sue Kainz, who live in a northern suburb of Chicago, said they planned to "have a lot of fun" and take a trip to Ireland with their winnings.

The couple elected to take the prize in a one-time payment, which will give them about $60m after tax.

They had the choice of either receiving the prize as a lump sum or in 26 annual installments of $7m - but the decision had to made when they filled out their lottery slip.

The couple run the Wild Onion brewery with their three adult children.

"It couldn't have happened to a nicer family. The whole village is excited," neighbour Tony Cantieri said.

A week ago, a swimming pool installer from Michigan claimed the other half of the prize.

Larry Ross said he had bought 98 tickets and a hotdog for $100.

He also elected to take the lump sum payment.

The Big Game is played in Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey and Virginia.
