Cancer deaths fall |

| A combination of treatment advances is credited with a 25% drop in both the UK and US over the last decade. It is the most sudden fall in mortality for a common cancer seen anywhere in the world. And, as the BBCs James Westhead reports, it reverses a 26% rise in mortality between the 1950s and 1987.
