Serb police tear-gas protesters
Police in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, have fired tear gas into several thousand opposition supporters as they left a peaceful rally. They had been protesting against the government's seizure of an opposition television and radio station, Studio B. At least one activist was badly injured. A BBC correspondent who was at the scene says it's not clear what started the incident. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
