Moroccan students riot

Reports from Morocco say several people were injured in clashes between students and the security forces in the southern city of Marrakesh.

The Moroccan news agency said scores of students on Wednesday blocked streets and set fire to a vehicle near the university campus.

A number of students were arrested.

It's not clear what triggered the unrest. Earlier, it was reported that the Islamist opposition leader, Abdessalam Yassine, had resumed political activity hours after being released from more than ten years under house arrest.
