Three dead in Tunisia border attack

Tunisia says its border guards killed three members of an armed group that crossed into the country from Algeria.

The Tunisian news agency said the group, about twenty-strong, attacked a border post inside Tunisia before being forced to withdraw.

Two Tunisian soldiers were wounded in the clash.

The agency said documents recovered from the attackers indicated they were Islamic militants.

There's been no word from Algeria about the incident.
